Jhinga (Ridge Gourd)
Jhinga is the most common and a popular vegetable for cooking in Bangladesh. Cooking Luffa acutangular is a cucurbitaceous vine that commercially grows for its unripe fruits as a vegetable. We use the Mature fruits as natural cleaning sponges. This fruits are slightly resembles a cucumber or zucchini with ridges and that ranges from central and eastern Asia to southeastern Asia.
